ABOUT US
History
Apartelle de Francesca is owned by a manufacturer and distributor of souvenir shirts and shorts in Puerto Galera. Realizing the need for additional lodging due to the influx of guests especially during the summer season, Mr. Pancho and Dr. Juliet Mendoza decided to build a resort at the vacant lot behind their residence. The resort was named after the couple’s only daughter or “unica hija”, Francesca.
Apartelle de Francesca is located in White Beach, where one of the two branches of the couple’s souvenir shops is located. The second shop is located in Muelle.
Construction of the resort started on July 18, 2003. Formal inauguration and blessing was on February 11, 2004 which coincided with the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. Since Dr. Juliet’s trip to France, Our Lady of Lourdes has held a special place in her heart. Thus, a special spot was reserved for the grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes and its construction was included in the building plans of the resort. This spot is one of the main attractions.
Another captivating spot of The Apartelle is the right foot-shaped swimming pool. The right footprint is the trademark of the family business. The souvenir shop’s name is Footstep Shirts and Jeans, and the products (Puerto Galera shirts and shorts) have the right foot print printed on them. For the couple, the footprint represents their struggle from rags to what they have now. Also, the poem “Footprints in the Sand” was an inspiration to them.
At present, Apartelle de Francesca has 31 rooms. Amenities are a swimming pool with Jacuzzi, a restaurant, a stand-by generator, two conference rooms which can accommodate 120 - 150 people each, a gym, a KTV room, table tennis and billiard tables, a safety deposit box, Wi-Fi hot spots, a souvenir shop and a refilling station so that our guest can drink a best quality of drinking water. All rooms are equipped with cable TV and air-conditioning units. With the relaxing atmosphere of the resort, guests will surely love to stay longer and upon departure will be very glad to visit the place again.
Mission
Apartelle de Francesca is committed to provide quality service to its guests. With its friendly staff, the resort wants to make the guests feel as comfortable as their own home. The three to five-minute walk to and from the beach ensures that the place is suited for relaxation where one can simply be at peace with nature. Likewise, with its functional amenities, The Apartelle is also a perfect place for family and friends to have fun and relax. With this in mind, the owners guarantee that the place is worth coming back for.
Vision
Five years from now, Apartelle de Francesca will be the tourists’ favorite resort in White Beach, Puerto Galera with more improved quality service.
Reaching the Paradise, Apartelle de Francesca From Manila, take a bus in Pasay City going to Batangas Pier. If you are in a rush, take a bus going to Batangas Pier via Calabarzon. This saves time since the bus will take the Star Tollway. Upon reaching Batangas Pier, take any boat going to Puerto Galera. At this point, please contact the information staff of The Apartelle via text message and mention the name of the boat and time of departure from Batangas Pier. (The contact number can be seen on this website.) A resort staff, wearing The Apartelle shirt and holding a placard with the guests’ names, will be at the docking area to meet the guests.

We provide a spacious function room suitable for company seminars and other events for 50 persons. It includes with air-conditioning, TV and other materials.

Offers a variety of souvinir items such as different designs of t-shirts, beach shorts, bags and other beach items in all good designs and quality to choose from.

It gives you an over-looking views of mountains and natures on the top of each patio of our resort. A fresh cold air and sea-breeze in the morning and a lazy warm air in the afternoon will give you a total ralaxation in your vacation.

For those who want them to stay physically fit we offer here our mini gym which is open all the time. Our mouth watering foods in our garden restaurant is always open to serve you with our polite and friendly staffs.
